Kayuta Lake Campground Guidelines
Thank you for camping at Kayuta Lake Campground. It is with your help and your commitment to abide by these guidelines that make our campground one of the most desirable campgrounds in the Adirondacks!|
Please be sure that you, your family members & your visitors read and understand these guidelines. They are designed to keep everyone safe and your stay an enjoyable one. Please remember, anyone not observing campground guidelines can and will be ask to leave and no refunds will be given. Thank you! Enjoy your stay!
In the event of a medical or life threatening emergency, dial 911 first. THEN.....
DURING OFFICE HOURS
Please call the office at (315) 8315077 to make us aware of the issue or emergency.
For urgent matters AFTER office hours, (medical emergencies, loud neighbors, barking dogs, loss of electric, etc.), please call the after hours number (315) 269-2380 to make us aware of the situation so we can take care of it immediately.
Sunday ...............................9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Monday - Thursday ............9:00 am to 5:00 pm (9am-7pm June 26th Labor Day Weekend)
Friday & Saturday...............9:00 am to 9:00 pm
All rates are based on a family of 4. Additional people will result in additional fees. There can be no more than 6 people registered to one site at any given time.
5 MPH throughout the campground AND on Campground Rd. Children are very precious. Please watch for them because they are not watching for you.
11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Remember, sound travels greatly in the woods. No loud music, loud parties, loud talking or any loud noises after 11pm. Please be considerate of your neighbors at all times. Radios must be off by 11pm. Children must be back on their sites by 10pm or they must be accompanied by an adult.
Check In's are allowed between 2:00 PM & 9:00PM. In consideration of families that have children already sleeping, we do not allow check-ins after quiet time begins.
Sometimes you just don't make it to where you're going on time, its ok, we understand! The important thing to us is that you make it and start enjoying your vacation as quickly as possible.
Give us a call to let us know you will be arriving afterhours.
When you get here, stop at the Office.
Hanging on the front door you will find a map with your name on it.
Use the map to find your site and come visit the office in the morning to square up & receive your car passes!
**If for any reason you require our assistance, we would be more than happy to help out, please call our afterhours number (315) 269-2380 and one of our Staff will meet you at the Office!
1:00 PM for Campsites and 11:00 AM for rental units.
EARLY CHECK-IN's & LATE CHECK-OUT's:
Early check-in's & late check-out's are not guaranteed. Your site may be occupied by another party the night before your arrival or the day of your departure. Please check with the office first if you plan on arriving before 2PM or checking out after 1PM. Sorry, we do not allow early check in's or late check out's for rental units.
All guests, visitors and additional family members are required to register at the office UPON ARRIVAL. A visitor is anyone who is not registered with the original party. Day Visitors must leave the park by 10PM. Visitors are not permitted in the park without the registered camper being present. No visitors will be admitted after 9PM. To reduce overcrowding, no more than 5 day visitors per site per day.
Children (Age 17 & under) are required to be back on their sites by 10PM. Any children out past this time must be accompanied by a parent.
New York State Law requires all children, under 14 years old, to wear bicycle helmets while riding their bikes, rollerblades, skateboards or scooters in the Campground.
Space is limited to two (2) vehicles per site. ALL vehicles MUST display a valid car pass. Golf Carts, ATV's, dirt bikes, mini bikes are prohibited for Overnight Campers unless they are being trailered to use offsite.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE POLICY:
Legal drinking age is 21 in NY. We try to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere, please use a koozie if taking your can or bottle off your site. No kegs. Drunken behavior, excessive noise or shouting, fights or similar activity shall be grounds for eviction.
Must be confined within the fire ring, kept under control (less than 3 feet in height) and never left unattended. Please do not move fire pits. Please do NOT burn trash. Please do NOT cut down any tree, alive or dead on any campground property. Please be sure your fire is out completely before retiring for the evening or leaving the campground.
No Fireworks, Firearms, Paintball guns, BB guns, Bows & Arrows, Illegal Substances/Drugs and no underage drinking will be permitted. State law prohibits the dumping of gray water on the ground.
You may be filmed or photographed which may be used in advertising to promote the campground or activities. Registering at our campground constitutes your consent for us to use any pictures or videos we deem appropriate without payment, inspection, or review. If you want your likeness not used, it is your responsibility to remove yourself from the situation.
At Kayuta Lake Campground, we recognize that, for many campers, pets are truly a part of their families. We are pet friendly but to ensure that all campers have a relaxing and enjoyable stay, we must ask that campers with pets read and abide by the following rules:
Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at Kayuta Lake Campground. If your pet shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers and/or other pets, please leave it home. If you decide to bring your pet and it exhibits this type of behavior, you will be asked to remove the pet from the park.
Maximum of 2 dogs per site.
A valid rabies certificate must be shown at check in. Collar tags will NOT be accepted.
Dogs must be leashed whenever they are outside.
An adult should accompany young children when they are walking a dog.
Pets must not be left unattended at any time.
Please clean up after your pet. We have poopy bag stations located throughout the park.
Pets are not allowed in bathhouses, office, playhouse, laundry room, rental units, playground, beach or pool areas.
The camper is responsible for any damages caused by his pet.
SWIMMING FACILITY RULES & REGULATIONS:
As per the NYS Health Department - THERE IS NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY AT THE POOL - SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK
A minimum of two adults 18 years of age or older, must be present whenever this swimming facility is in use, with at least one adult on the pool deck or beachfront.
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied to the bathing facility by a parent or guardian, or similar adult responsible for their safety and behavior.
NO DIVING, BACK FLIPS, RUNNING or ROUGH HOUSING allowed in the pool.
IF YOU LEAVE THE POOL FOR ANY REASON, YOU MUST TAKE YOUR CHILDREN WITH YOU. OTHER ADULTS IN THE POOL AREA MAY NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHILDREN.
Only registered guests of the facility who have read the regulations may use the swimming pool.
Free for all registered guests. There is a fee for non-guests. In the Spring & Fall, the gate at the top of the beach road will be locked when the office closes.
PUBLIC USE OF BOAT LAUNCH:
1) The 5mph Speed Limit on Campground Rd and inside the campground will be strictly enforced.
2) Boat Launch will be accessible between May 15th & October 14th ONLY - NO EXCEPTIONS.
3) Launch fee covers Boat Launch ONLY. Access to campground facilities (pool, beach, games, playground, entertainment, etc.) is restricted to our registered campers only.
4) Launch pass is a single use pass. Good for 1 boat on 1 day. Multiple boats require multiple passes.
5) You must stop at the office to get your launch pass BEFORE proceeding to the launch area.
6) Launch is CLOSED to the public on Holidays.
7) The Launch Parking area is CLOSED to the public on holidays, Fridays & Saturdays due to the amount of traffic we get on the weekends.
PUBLIC USE HOURS:
Launch only: $10.00 (tax included) per use.
Friday & Saturday 9am-8:00pm
Launch & Park in our lot: $10.00 (tax included) per vehicle.
Sunday Thursday 9am-4:00pm ONLY
Please, for the safety of our camping guests & the continued use of our launch, we request that the above guidelines be followed by everyone wishing to use the launch.
Kayuta Lake Campground boat rentals are for registered campers and their registered guests ONLY. Boat rentals are not open to the public.
